Ergis Environmental is to schedule and meet with the pier building contractor sometime around the middle of April weather permitting. They are to stake out the wetlands in the common area and spot the pier starting location at the HWM (High Water Mark)in the wetlands and the walkway that is to connect to the uplands in the common area. We are waiting on confirmation of the meeting date which should be soon.
Once the wetlands are staked out and pier location finalized, construction will be starting on the pier.

2010 POA DUES
The billing invoice for the 2010 POA maintenance dues have been mailed out to all Sunset Bay property owners. Please contact the POA if you do not receive an billing statement within two weeks of this posting date.

Property Owners Notice
The board has approved to move the POA annual dues payment date from January 10 to March 1. The billing statement is being prepared to be mailed out to the property owners by the end of this week with the new billing date.
Update on Community Pier status:
The developer contact has confirmed by email on 1/16/2010 that they have the pier permit and are moving forward with the dock bidding and getting ready to build. I will be posting updates on the website blogger as new information becomes available.

GREAT NEWS UPDATE...
Folks...I bring good news...the Corps of Engineers has approved the Sunset Bay community pier permit TODAY and is preparing to send the authorization letter of approval to the developer contact. This is great news for the Sunset Bay community as we have been waiting for the pier permit for quite a while.
I will be posting updated information regarding the construction of the Sunset Bay Pier for everyone here on the blogger as I receive updated information from the developer.
