Debbie Christa-Ortiz has submitted her resignation from the POA Board of Directors effective 5/8/2016. The POA board has accepted her resignation and thanked her for volunteering her time on the board and serving the POA to protect, preserve, and maintain the value of the Sunset Bay community.
The POA board has approved and appointed Kelly Flanagan as President "Interim" and Betty Cook as Director at Large until the POA Annual Members Meeting on August 6, 2016 at which time new board members will be elected to the POA Board of Directors.
Any current member in good standing that is interested to be a candidate for a spot on POA Board should send their name in to the board secretary within the next few weeks so we can send out with the POA annual meeting notice. Proxies need to be sent in to the POA address if a member cannot attend the POA annual members meeting in order for your vote to count. SUNSET BAY PROPERTY OWNERS VEHICLE ID TAGS
The Vehicle ID Tags have been mailed out to Sunset Bay property owners who have paid their 2016 POA annual maintenance fee. When your 2016 POA annual maintenance fee payment is received, two vehicle tags will be mailed to you. If you have paid your 2016 POA fee and you have not received your ID tags within three weeks, please contact one of the POA board members on the Sunset Bay POA website www.sunsetbaypoa.org.
Be sure to hang the tag on the rearview mirror when you are in Sunset Bay. You must have an Vehicle ID tag visible when you access the POA common area where the picnic tables and fishing pier is located. If you see a vehicle in the Sunset Bay common area (Picnic and Pier area) that does not have the Sunset Bay ID tag or on your property without your authorization, we encourage you to contact the County Sheriff's office at 361-729-2222. We appreciate your cooperation in making Sunset Bay a safe community.
The weather is getting better every day now and we hope you come out to Sunset Bay to fish off the pier, have a picnic, relax, and enjoy the many things the Rockport area has to offer.
